The Southeastern Tennessee chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals is hosting its 21st annual National Philanthropy Day luncheon on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at the Chattanooga Convention Center.

The Athens Area Council for the Arts will present 15 artists plus the art students of Tennessee Wesleyan College in 12 studio locations in and around Athens, Tenn., during the eighth annual Studio Tour.

Choral Arts’ tribute to the works of Handel, Haydn and Mendelssohn, and the Scottish Society of Chattanooga’s evening of Scottish heritage are among 19 projects awarded $23,000 in grant funds through Allied Arts and the Arts Build Communities program.
