I sent my daughter to Regions Bank here in Ooltewah last Monday to deposit a returned check from a customer that was now good. When she got to the bank, she called me for the account number.

Raymond Mott turned 102 Wednesday. He attends Ooltewah United Methodist Church and is a fixture on the fifth row every Sunday. Just think what changes Raymond has seen in Ooltewah.

Sometimes you meet the nicest people.
Last week, I was having a small problem with my water bill, so I called Eastside Utility for some help. Malinda Milliken helped me sort through the problem, and she not only corrected the error, she made a suggestion that is going to save me money as well.
We need more people like Malinda Milliken in this world. Thank you Eastside Utility for having nice people like Malinda.
Food Lion Grocery Stores donated $2,000 to the Samaritan Center here in Ooltewah to help purchase fresh produce for their food bank.
You see, not all news has to be bad.
