Bill McGhinnis’s sister-in-law, Laura Bird, Phoenix, Ariz., used our Green Way system twice a day for several days while visiting the McGhinnises. She is training for a three day, 60 mile "Walk for the Cure" in November in Phoenix. Our Green Way really is one of the best things we have done here in the "Dale".

On Sept. 27, beginning at 10 a.m., will be the Collegedale Airport's Open House. This will be a great time to bring the kids out to experience the world of aviation.

Arriving Sept. 28 at the Collegedale Airport will be the EAA museum’s B-17. On Sept. 29, you can take rides on it for a $400 donation. This should be big fun, but I am just trying to beg the money from my wife to participate.
