ALTON PARK: Gala called ‘wonderful opportunity’

On Sept. 12, 290 community members, guest, local agencies and organizations participated in the Calvin Donaldson Community Gala hosted by Commissioner Warren Mackey and City Councilman Manny Rico and featured activities, food and entertainment, provided by local Latin band Tropical Swing.

Vanessa Mercer of Crabtree Farms said, "The gala was a wonderful opportunity to bring together the Calvin community with the larger Chattanooga community to share, learn and support a school we all love." Crabtree Farms worked with hundreds of children to grow pumpkins, while more importantly, growing community.
