The semi-annual Flagstone Subdivision community yard sale will be Sept. 12 from 8 a.m. until everyone is too tired to sell. Flagstone is a huge subdivision right off Hunter Road and is always chocked full of bargains for the professional yard seller and buyer. Don't miss it.

And on Sept. 22 at 7 p.m., the Ooltewah High School band will host the Hamilton County Marching Band Expo. More than eight area high school bands will be performing. Admission will be $3 for adults and $2 for children. All middle school band members will be admitted free. The concession stand will be open, so come out and support the OHS and area bands.

The OHS football Owls will host the Franklin County High Rebels Sept. 11. Kick off will be at 7:30 p.m.
