Starting on Sept. 16, Lakewood Baptist Church will have an exciting new children's program, master clubs, for ages 3 years through sixth grade. A teen program, truth seekers, will begin on that date as well. Clubs meet at the church, located at 6626 Hunter Road, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Transportation can be arranged by calling 423-344-6334.

The Central High Class of 1984 will hold their 25th reunion on Sept. 18 and 19. Friday activities include a barbecue in the gym at Central (must RSVP and pay in advance) and football game to follow. Sept. 19 from 7 to 11 p.m., there will be a dinner at Fox Cay Restaurant. Be prepared to pay $15 cash at the door.
