The big Halloween bash at Stevarinos will be Oct. 30, with cash prizes to be given away for the best three costumes.

The Boy Scouts pancake breakfast at the Sequachee Valley Electric Cooperative building will be Oct. 31.

The fire department has started the fourth annual toy drive for kids. The toys will be distributed to families on Dec. 19. The drop off locations are Stevarinos, Midtown BBQ and city hall.
