ROSSVILLE: Luncheon brings county, state officials together

Rossville hosted county and state officials at a City Hall luncheon Tuesday to present a power point presentation of how the city departments operated.

Rossville Mayor Johnny Baker said Sen. Jeff Mullis told him it was an outstanding meeting.

“I think it was outstanding too,” Mayor Baker said. “I think it opened the eyes of the legislators of the interworking of the city.”

Walker County Commissioner Bebe Heiskell and State Rep. Martin Scott joined members of the Georgia Municipal Association and Sen. Mullis at the luncheon.

Detective David Scroggins narrated the power point presentation that also showed what the various city departments needed.
