Cottage Treasures Tea Room & Gift Shop, 170 Cleveland St., will host their Christmas Open House on Nov. 5 from 4 to 9 p.m. and on Nov. 6 and 7 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Call 706-935-2548 for information or to reserve your dinner in the tea room.

The Teen Tree ministry, started by a local bus driver wishing to assist less fortunate teenagers at Christmas, has grown. A Bike Run is planned for Nov. 28 from KMart in Fort Oglethorpe. They purchase clothing and personal items and deliver them wrapped. Donations are tax deductible, and every penny goes to help the teens.
