NORTH CHATTANOOGA: Friday brings Halloween fun for kids, adults

Princesses, pirates and super heroes will take to the streets this weekend, filling their bags and bellies with sweets. Keep those kids safe by making sure they trick or treat in familiar neighborhoods, carry flashlights after dark and wear reflective clothing or tape.

The Chattanooga Zoo will host its family-friendly Boo in the Zoo on Oct. 30, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Kids will love the costume contests, candy, crafts and games. Visit chattzoo.org for details. For adults, the Southern Belle is presenting Midnight Mayhem, a midnight cruise benefiting the Ronald McDonald House. Come in costume and board the boat at Pier 2 at Ross’ Landing at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 30. Call 266-4488 to purchase your $10 ticket.

Have a safe and happy Halloween!
