Bryan College’s William Jennings Bryan Center for Law and Public Policy will present a symposium called Health Care in America: The Diagnosis and the Cure, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30 and resuming at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 31 in Rudd Auditorium.

From Nov. 16-23, Dayton’s First Baptist Church will collect shoe boxes full of gifts for needy children to be delivered by Operation Christmas Child. Call 775-0255 for more information.
