Are you looking for a high energy group of networkers? Then the Dalton-Whitfield Chamber of Commerce Diplomats might be just the group for you! Diplomats meet on the first Tuesday each month at a different chamber member restaurant. Any chamber member may delegate an employee to serve as a Chamber Diplomat. Diplomats are the ambassadors who attend ribbon cuttings, help deliver new chamber information and attend all of the chamber events. Junior Achievement will host their first 5K for JA with a free fun run and 5K run/walk on Oct. 31, starting at the City Park School Gym in Dalton. The cost for the 5K Run is $15 for adults, $10 for children 14 and under and $25 for a family. T-shirts will be provided for all paid participants.
