ALTON PARK: Wellness course offered to residents

Registration is now taking place for the Neighborhood Environmental College. The Alton Park Development Corporation will offer the health and wellness course to residents of the Piney Woods, Alton Park and Eastlake communities. The course will begin Nov. 3 from 12 to 2 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday at the Piney Woods Resource Center, located at 701 Hooker Road. More than 300 participants have graduated from the NEC. There are only 25 seats available. If you are interested in participating in the NEC and would like to register, please contact the resource center at 825-7361 or contact Geri Spring at 991-6435.
