Signal Mountain church calendar

Sawyer Missionary Baptist Church at 7248 Sawyer Pike has Sunday school at 10 a.m. and morning worship service at 11 a.m. Services are also held Sunday night at 6 p.m. and Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.

Mount Carmel Baptist Church at 86 Hwy. 127 has Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and worship services at 10:50 a.m. Evening worship at 7 p.m.

Signal Crest United Methodist Church at 1005 Ridgeway Ave. holds Sunday worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. Senior pastor is Mark Gooden and associate pastor is the Rev. Lew Kizer.

Signal Mountain Baptist Church at 939 Ridgeway Ave. has Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and morning worship service at 11 a.m. Wednesday nights at 6:15 the church hosts children’s time and adult choir. Adult Bible study is Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Signal Mountain Bible Church at 4872 Shackleford Ridge Road has Sunday school at 9:45 and worship service at 11 a.m.

Signal Mountain Church of Christ at 960 Ridgeway Ave. has Sunday worship at 10:30 a.m., with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. Sunday night services are at 6 and Wednesday services are at 7 p.m.

Signal Mountain Church of God at 521 Timberlinks Dr. holds Sunday worship services at 11 a.m., with Sunday school services at 10 a.m. and Wednesday evening services at 7 p.m.

Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church (EPC) at 612 James Blvd. has an early morning worship service at 8:15, Sunday school is at 9:15 and morning worship is at 10:40 a.m. Wednesday family night program is at 6:30 p.m.

Signal Mountain United Methodist Church at 3419 Taft Hwy. has Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. and an 11 a.m. worship service. The church hosts Wednesday evening Bible studies at 7.

St. Andrew’s Reformed Episcopal Church (and St. George Church) has Sunday services at 11 a.m. at 1819 Taft Highway.

St. Augustine Catholic Church at 1716 Anderson Pike has Mass Saturdays at 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Mass is also held Sundays at 10:30 a.m. with Parish School of Religion at 9:15 a.m. During the week, Mass is held at 8:15 a.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, and at 7 p.m. Wednesdays.

St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church at 630 Mississippi Ave. has 8 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite I in the Chapel without music; 9 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II with contemporary music; 11 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite II with traditional music and choir in the Nave. There will be no Sunday school during summer.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 1160 Ridgeway Drive hosts Sunday services from 9 a.m. to noon. Priesthood and Relief Society is at 9 a.m. and Sunday school is at 10 a.m. Sacrament service is at 10:50 a.m.

Wayside Presbyterian Church at 2502 Fairmount Road has Sunday worship service at 11 a.m. and Sunday school at 10 a.m.

Welcome Hill Baptist Church at Oak Street has Sunday school at 10 a.m. and a morning worship service at 11 a.m. Sunday evening worship service is at 6. Wednesday services are at 7 p.m.

WHBC has youth-led services every third Sunday during the morning service with young adults preaching the message of the day.
