ALTON PARK: Meeting explains grant use

Oct. 8, there will be an Alton Park Brownfields public meeting at the Southside Community Health Center, located at 100 E. 37th Street, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

The meeting will provide updates on projects that have been funded by eight grants that the city and county have received from the Environmental Protection Agency, and also share with you information about two new grant applications also to EPA for additional clean up. These two new opportunities may potentially increase recreation, greenspace and educational opportunities in the Alton Park area.
