Stan’s Pharmacy will host its annual Christmas open house Nov. 6, with proceeds benefiting the Rhea County United Way. The store will give away door prizes, have refreshments and special sales throughout the day. Stan’s is located at 7787 Rhea County Highway, across from the old hospital.

The Rhea County Sheriff’s Department will host its annual Toys of Kids Cruise-In Nov. 7 from noon to 4 p.m. in downtown Dayton. Admission will be a new toy donated to the sheriff’s toy drive. Toys and coats are donated to children as a result of the drive.
