North Shore Yoga is doubling in size and staff to offer customers more ways to relax.
“I think right now people are realizing what is truly important, and that is your health,” said studio co-owner Jessica Jollie, who opened North Shore Yoga with Sara Mingus in September of 2008.
Jollie and Mingus have just added a new studio for hot yoga as well as four new staff members.
“Every time Sara and I talk about something, immediately something falls in our laps,” said Jollie.
They have added dietitian Pam Kelle, holistic counselor and astrologer Lilian Laishley, acupuncturist Yong Oh, and Rolf method practitioner Will Massey into the North Shore Yoga family.
By doing so, the owners said they hope to create a sanctuary where their students may come to get away from it all and focus on the health of their bodies and their friendships.
North Shore Yoga is at 313 Manufacturers Road, Ste. 203. For more information visit the North Shore Yoga Web site or call 643-YOGA.
“They can come here and have their social life revolve around what’s going on here,” said Mingus.
Now offering 65 classes each week, the North Shore Yoga owners don’t foresee another physical expansion in their future.
“We don’t want to dilute our vision by getting too big,” said Mingus.
