

I sent my daughter to Regions Bank here in Ooltewah last Monday to deposit a returned check from a customer that was now good. When she got to the bank, she called me for the account number.
When she brought me the deposit ticket, I saw the teller keyed in my account number where the deposit amount should have gone.
Yep. The teller deposited more than $76 million into my account.
It took approximately 40 minutes before the bank realized the error, but I did have the deposit ticket, and I printed out the transaction from the online bank site.
I wish all bank errors could be corrected that fast.
