Traditional feel: Whisper Creek uses a 1920s-style traditional neighborhood design, with sidewalks on both sides of the street, large front porches and alley-loaded garages at the rear of the homes. Other features include decorative ornamental street lamps, street signs and mailboxes.
Demand for homes: The number of visitors to Whisper Creek has tripled in the last six weeks, Mr. Goldstein said. He says that’s because of his “Rock Bottom” price promotion; historic low interest rates; the popularity of Windstone; increased public confidence following the presidential inauguration and progress on the economic stimulus package; his reputation; and demand for the traditional neighborhood design.
