The Ooltewah Football Owls will play Knoxville Austin-East High Aug. 28 at James N. Monroe Stadium on the campus of Ooltewah High School. Kick off will be at 7:30 p.m.

The Chickamauga Region of the American Antique Car Association will have a car show Aug. 29 at the Chattanooga Riverpark off Aminicola Highway. I know it's not in Ooltewah, but several antique car owners from this area will be there. Admission will be free, and gates will open at 8 a.m. I'll see you there.

Last Friday during the broadcast of the Tyner-Ooltewah football game on 105.1 ESPN Radio, play-by-play announcer Randy Smith wondered aloud during the broadcast what a group of owls is called. He asked was it a covey, flock or bunch?

The answer is a parliament of owls, Randy. Now you know.
